We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2022, at the age of 81, Essie Jones of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jim Hughes and Eolion Hughes; her husband John Howard Jones, Jr.; her children, Lavon Perry and Mary Jones; her grandsons, Anthony Jones and Jactavis Williams; and her children, Eddie Perry of Huttig, Michael Perry of El Dorado, Gerome Perry (Queen) of El Dorado, Felicia Jones of El Dorado and Latonya (Erik) of Lawson. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great children.
