It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flossie McPhearson (El Dorado, Arkansas), born in Junction City, Arkansas, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentis Johnson and Rietha Johnson; her brother James Johnson; her son Tameyo Johnson; and her sister Tina Nelson Bendy.
She is survived by: her brothers, Lovell Johnson, Odell Johnson and Elkin Johnson; her children, Gwendolyn Johnson of Livermore, Genettia Pollins of Garland, Regina Thompson of Smackover, Arkansas., Larry Hildreth (Therese) and Reynaldo Hildreth of San Jose, California.; her sisters, Sleta Leepers of Dallas and Carleta Hamilton of Dallas, Texas.; her grandchildren, Jamice, Imani, Tameyo, Tiffany, Jacob, Cheynne, Tareya, Kneshell, Caitlyn, Riann, Jermaine, Tiona, Shyira, Ira Jr., Kyle, Noah and Theodora; her great grandchildren, Sania, Jaysha, Simon, Zakai and Jazonte; and her brother R. T. Goodwin of Smackover. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
