He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Gerald Bernard Heard (Rosanna) and Shannon; and his siblings, Gloria Dean Ramey (Oubin), Rev. David Winston Heard, Sr. (Burnis), Rev. Willie Melvin Heard (Johnnie) and Jerlene Elaine Malone (Roosevelt). He is also survived by inlaws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
