He was predeceased by: his parents, E. S. Farris and Dorothy Ethridge Farris; his wife Virginia Jerry Farris; and his brother Charles Farris. He is survived by: his daughter Judy Phelps (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Michael Phelps and Jeannie Thompson (Todd); his great grandchildren, Abigail and Sarah Thompson; and his sister Jan Huccaby (Jim). He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, and multiple great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Perry's Funeral Chapel (312 W Oak St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
