He was predeceased by: his parents, Sie Luna Ratliff and Marlene Sims; his wife Mary Luese Ratliff; his stepmother Syletta Ratliff (Mary Luese Ratliff); his grandparents, PJ, Aberdeen Bryant, Nathan and Ethel Cobb Ratliff; his brothers, Zachary Lee Davis and Lee Hayes Ratliff; and his grandchildren, Sharmaine Brown, Chauncey W Brown-Larry and Zai'lynn Hall-Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Coggins, Tamika Kimble (Mark), Jessica Fraizer (Patrick), JaQuetta Hall (James), LaChyna Ratliff, Ladhyna Ratliff, Rodney Larry (Alexia), Demeatrice Smith (Talmikia), Zachary Ratliff (Shonda), Anthony Smith (Beverly), Nathaniel Bernard Bowens, Desmond Ratliff (Denekqua), James Cortez Ratliff (Benitra), David Anthony Morris, Jerrod Henry (Sharon) and Quintoria Blueford; his siblings, Julia Ann Wade, Beverly Wilson, Marilyn Pitts, Randall Davis and Marcus Ratliff; his goddaughter Ashley Buggs; and his close friend Stephanie Keel. He is also survived by 55 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
