With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Moody (El Dorado, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Moody and Katherine Moody; his wife Elaine Moody; his brothers, Joe Dean Moody, Odell Moody, Billy Dean Moody and Raymond Moody; and his grandson Jayden Moody.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Moody (Yolanda) and Cedric Moody (Shakerah) of El Dorado, AR.; his grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen, Jacovi, Katevian, Kevonte', Jordyn and Yakiya; his brothers, Andrew (Delois), Henry (Mary), Jimmy, Ricky and Danny; his close friend Bass; and his caregiver Karletha Williams.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sims Mortuary (432 W Liberty St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (1807 S West Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730).
