We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2025, at the age of 81, John M. McGoogan (El Dorado, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benson McGoogan and Christine Adcock McGoogan; and his siblings, Donald "Doc" McGoogan, Patrick McGoogan and Maxine Stegall.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Jane Fowler (Edward), Charles Edward McGoogan (Celeste), John Benson McGoogan (Mary) and James Michael McGoogan (Tiphanie); and his grandchildren, Michael Fowler, Ryan Fowler, Elizabeth Pearce, Oliver McGoogan, Mara Ortega, Ian McGoogan, Peyton Cutler and Madison Curtis.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel - El Dorado (400 N College Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Faith Southern Methodist Church, 4840 Magnolia Hwy., El Dorado, AR 71730.
