It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Wade (El Dorado, Arkansas), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Marilyn's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Marilyn's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parent Odie Bell Cunningham; her former husband James Clark; and her siblings, Betty Ellis, Adalee Ellis, Lula People, Ouella Washington, Willie Cunningham (Sonny), Otis Donnell, Lonnie Cunningham and Isaiah Burr.
She is survived by: her brother Rev. Robert Cunningham.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ Missionary Baptist Church (1628 E Cook St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
