He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Thornton Peel and James Murray Peel; and his sister Myrna DeCou. He is survived by: his son David Maurice Peel; his granddaughter Hillary Bradford; his sibling's children, Mitch DeCou (Kim), Lesley Simpson (Al), Lauren Phillips (Shane), Celeste Hernandez (Dennis), Hannah Carter and Aaron Hunter; his brother-in-law Larry Elmore; and his wife Patricia Elmore.
Alzheimer's started taking away his memories and activities several years ago. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Paul Global Methodist Church, or any of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) charities.
