Mitzi Gayle Sanchez Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Mitzi Gayle Sanchez of El Dorado, Arkansas. Mitzi, born on May 14, 1954, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Wood and Martha Wood; her brothers-in-law, Gary Paul Sanchez and Earl Lee; and her grandson Callen James Sanchez.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Richard "Dickie" Sanchez Jr.; her children, Mandi Gayle Sanchez-Karisny (Micheal Karisny) and Joseph "Richard" Sanchez III (Tabitha Sanchez); her grandchildren, Olivia, Colton, Maci Gayle, Stanley, Wyndi, Penny and Madi Gayle; her brothers, Rick Wood (Michele) of Asheville and Ronnie (Sherri Wood); and her sister-in-law Patti Sanchez of St. Francisville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Youngs Chapel Preceding the Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
