He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Hornaday Barnett; his siblings, Rosetta Trahan (Kerry) and Gary Barnett (Beverly); his children, Becky Davis (Dwayne), Johnny Paul (J. P.) and Jerry Douglas Barnett (Angela); his grandchildren, Ashton Collier (Caleb), Andrew Douglas Barnett, Madison Davis, Wesley Davis and Sophie Barnett; and his great grandchildren, Hayes Collier and Andrew Barnett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Directors (508 Champagnolle Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Side Baptist Church (2400 W Hillsboro St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arlington Memorial Park (702 N Mosby Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730).
