It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Rainey of El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Rainey and Bobbie Lee Rainey Sr.; and his siblings, Timmy, S. J. Culp, John Culp, Eddie Rainey, Sam Rainey Jr. and Ethel Lee Palmer.
He is survived by: his spouse Laverne Furlough-Gray (Vern); his children, La Quita Rainey (Curtis) of El Dorado, AR, Barbara Rainey-Bouldwin (Kennon) of Pflugerville, TX, Christa Rainey of El Dorado, AR., Arnold Furlough (Ann) of El Dorado, AR, Brian A. Gray of Harker Heights, TX., Ingrid Trapp (Bryant) of Harker Heights, TX and Sonya Smith of Conway, AR.; and his siblings, Jerry Rainey of El Dorado, AR and Francis Gray of Los Angeles, CA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
