With sadness, we share the passing of Peggy Johnson of El Dorado, Arkansas. Peggy, born on August 9, 1934, passed away on July 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. D. Bartlett and Myrtie Robertson Bartlett; her husband Reverend Paul Dexter Johnson; her daughter-in-law Robbie Johnson; and her siblings, Mornita McCullen, Marie Kyler, Mavis Frye, Jim Ed Bartlett, Malcolm Bartlett, R. C. Bartlett, Harold Bartlett and Leon Bartlett.
She is survived by: her sister Bobbie House; her children, Dexter Johnson (Ann) of Orlando, Timothy Johnson (Becky) of Monroe and Penny Griffin (Dennis) of El Dorado; her grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Stephanie Hanry, Sarah Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Adrian Griffin, Danielle King, Nathan Johnson, Rebecca Frisbie, David Johnson, Paula Jones, Ashley King, Joshua Johnson and Caleb Johnson; and her friend Gloria Gulatt. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
