It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Richard Brown Jr. of El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on August 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Richard Brown, Sr. and Carrie May Wilson Brown; his wife Helen Joyce Byrd Brown; his sister Jo Ann Brown Bushart; and his son Robert Richard "Dick" Brown III.

He is survived by : his children, Susan Inez Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas and Christopher Morgan Brown of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Jennifer Carrie Robertson, Natalie Louise Robertson, Cara Elizabeth Blaylock and Robert Richard "Rob" Brown, IV; and his children, Foundation, Way and Slot.

Annette Rickard wrote a sympathy message

“I remember well Mr. Brown, his was my Insurance Agency in El Dorado, and I was his insurance underwriter for The St. Paul Ins. Co. in Little Rock, I enjoyed working with Mr. Brown, I wouldn't dare call him Bob, the respect everyone in my company had for him made us look forward to his business trips to see us. I never doubted his information and was successful in writing a lot of business for him. On my trips to his agency, he was most gracious. Annette Rickard”
