We announce the death of Sarah H. Evans (El Dorado, Arkansas), who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Head and Luna Edna Fike Head; her siblings, Edward Earl (Marion), Pat (Head), Pardee (Tom), Dawne (Head) and McDonald (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Clifford Evans (Gwen), Howard Evans (Shirley), Dallas Evans (Irma), Morris (PeeWee), Marjorie Evans and Sylvia Evans Davidson (John).
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Woodrow Evans; her children, William Lloyd Evans (Vicki Meador Evans) and Susan Evans Jennings (Steven Jennings); her grandchildren, Matthew Evans Sutherlin (Amy), Timothy Lloyd Evans (Sarah), Leah Evans Riley (Chris) and Brooke Sutherlin Spielbauer (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Aidan Sutherlin, Alexander Evans, Charlee Riley, Isaac Evans, Asa Evans, Maci Spielbauer and Camryn Riley; and her sister Syble Head Roberson (Jim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marrable Hill Chapel (110 E Chapel Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Victory Bible Camp, at 110 Chapel Ave., El Dorado, AR 71730.
