With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sylvia Henley of El Dorado, Arkansas, whose life came to an end on June 1, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Nolan Nesbit and Ruth Church Nesbit; and her husband Edgar F. Henley, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Randy Atwell (Leah) of Arkadelphia and Jayne Atwell Snyder of Cabot; her grandchildren, Jake Atwell (Lane) of El Dorado, Molly Atwell Tucker (Brent) of Arkadelphia, Emily Snyder Reed (Derrick) of Hazen and Anna Snyder of Little Rock; and her brother-in-law Lieutenant Colonel. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in the Parish Hall (512 Champagnolle Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 512 Champagnolle, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730, or the South Arkansas Arts Center, 110 E. 5th, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.
