She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Jean Cooper and Lewis C. Cooper; her grandparents, Jewel and Evelyn Hawthorne; and her sisters, Carolyn J. Cooper Montgomery and Tonya A. Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Artist J Smith; and her sibling's children, Kendal Dykes and Beverly Smith. She is also survived by extended family, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sims Mortuary (432 W Liberty St, El Dorado, AR 71730). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Douglas Chapel Baptist Church (969 Smackover Hwy, El Dorado, AR 71730).
