He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny B. Jackson and Mildred Jackson; his son Vernon De'Angelo Jackson, Jr.; and his siblings, Mildred Jackson, Mattie Raybon, Geraldine Stanley, Larry Jackson, John L. Jackson and Willie Louis Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jackson of Three Creeks, Arkansas; his children, Randy Gill of Farmerville, LA., Linda Gill of El Dorado, AR. and Deja Moore of Three Creeks, AR.; and his sisters, Lena Nelson of Three Creeks, Ruby Modica (Elijah) of Red Oak, Shirley Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Shirley Marie Jackson (Roy) of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
