He is survived by: his sons, Vincent Jr. James and Fredrick James (Evette); his grandchildren, Raylen James, Braxton and A'Kynlel James of El Dorado, AR; his siblings, Gregory Payne of Huttig, AR, Larry James of Huttig, AR, Bobbie James James (Latorra) of El Dorado, AR and Janice (Jesse) of Oakland, CA; and his extended family, Jeffery, Felicia Billings, Jerome and Lorraine Carter of Milwaukee, WI.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
