She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Reed Lindsey Sr. and Nola Mattie Harris Lindsey; her husband Bill W. Spooner; her son Jeffery Clyde Spooner; and her brother-in-law Donald Spooner.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Alene Spooner Gunther; her son-in-law Tim Gunther of Natchitoches; and her friends, Dr. Otis Barnum, Dr. Meg Barnum, Dr. Ajaya Tummala and Dr. Manish Dhawan.
