Vivian leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Vivian’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Vivian will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Curley and Jerlene Newton; and her siblings, Rita Newton and Jeffrey Newton. She is survived by: her husband Louis Johnson; her son Edmond Abney; her siblings, Paula Newton, Renette Curley, Edward Newton (Sabriya) and Donald Curley (Latasha); and her close friend Ralph Cain. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Sims Mortuary (105 Christian Dr, El Dorado, AR 71730). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:30 PM.
