Willie Tanner Obituary
We announce the death of Willie Tanner in El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Willie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Lizzie Walker and Calvin Tanner; and his siblings, Mable Clark, Sally Tanner, A. G. Jimmerson and Loyd Tanner.
He is survived by: his children, Mallah LaQundus Tanner, Candie Marie Tanner and Antwan Seamon; his siblings, Lois Nation, Geraldine Tanner, Darlene Tanner, Cynthia Simpson, Calvin Tanner (Johnny) and Leslie Johnson (Deborah); and his close friend Earnestine Howell-Strahan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sims Mortuary (105 Christian Dr, El Dorado, AR 71730).
