He was predeceased by: his parents, Clearence Riggs and Elsie Marie Riggs (Akins); and his siblings, William Eugene Riggs and Lois Evelyn Williams. He is survived by: his wife Leisa Riggs; his sons, Matthew Brandon Riggs and Jacob Dillon Riggs; his sister Bernice Hartman; his nieces, Melissa Hartman, Jennifer Hartman and Jessica Hartman; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison, Jaicee, Garrett, Kolton, Kutter, Tanner and Jake; Oaklynn.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be sent to Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas.
