He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Basquez and Richard Basquez; and his siblings, Valerie, Ronnie, Sonny, Francis (Cheechy), Ben and Toni.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Deanna Svoboda (Jeff) and Cristina Maranto (Ralph DelaGarza); his grandchildren, Robert Villarreal, Breanna Lezama (Luis), Joshua, Angelina Villarreal and Vincent Maranto, III; his children, Gianna, Davi and Coco; his stepdaughter Stephanie Leckert (John); his stepgrandson Luke; and his great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Lani, Marcelo Lezama, Ryan Villarreal and Eliana Villarreal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
