He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Overton and Carolyn Overton; his siblings, Jimbo Overton and Renee Connick; and his close friend Kendall Rothenberger.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Overton; his children, Ronald Overton Jr. of Little Rock, Tracy Williams of Emmet, Charles Williams of Delight, Arkansas and Brandy Linderman of Batesville, Arkansas; and his siblings, Rick Overton of Prescott, Arkansas, Rhonda Talanenetz of Bakersfield and Shannon Hedrick of El Segundo, California.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
