He was predeceased by : his parents, Larkin G. Hooker and Margaret Hooker (Davis); his son Phillip Hooker; and his siblings, Michael Hooker and Jennette Deremiah.

He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Ann Hooker (Skiles) of England; his daughter Mickey Sue Childers; and his sisters, Roberta "Bobbie" Reese of Wright and Susan Ward of Vilonia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
