He is survived by : his wife Kelly Gladney Popejoy; his children, J. P. Popejoy (Chelsea) and Kristen Armstrong; and his brothers, Mark Popejoy (Pam) and Mike Popejoy (Kris). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
