She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Johnson and Lena Johnson (Worley); and her spouse Allison T. Westphal (Al). She is survived by: her son David Westphal (Kim); her grandsons, Keith Westphal (Hannah) and Kurtis Westphal; her great grandchild Elsie June Westphal; and her siblings, Wanda Tirey, Joe Johnson (Izell), Floyd, Wayne, Jewell, Glen Jr., Bill Johnson and Lucy Fern Kell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Her contributions to the field of history and to the hearts of those she knew will endure.
