He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Bud" Bland and Pauline Bland; and his brother David Bland. He is survived by: his wife Sherry of Eureka Springs; his son Brandon; his daughter-in-law Shalae; and his granddaughter Kathryn of Cabot, Arkansas..
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church-Eureka Springs (350 Frontage Rd, Eureka Springs, AR 72632).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gene's memory to the Good Shepherd Humane Society of Eureka Springs.
