As Lori departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lori may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lori leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Anne Scates; her husband Darrell Butler; and her sister Robin K Miller. She is survived by: her father Oscar Scates; her son Matthew Butler (Sarah McNeill); her grandchildren, Coralee and Ezra Butler; her son Thomas Butler (Alyssa Roxanne Wright); and her siblings, Sandy Tigerstorm (late Paul Tigerstorm), Tony Scates (late Vicki Scates) and Jim Scates (Jan Scates).
