Betty Jean Goodman Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Betty Jean Goodman of Evening Shade, Arkansas, whose life came to an end on October 11, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Bristow and Irene Bristow (Roberts); her husband Doyle Goodman; her granddaughter Jessica Nicole Goodman; and her siblings, Gordon "Hoss" Bristow, Leonard "Bill" Bristow, Jimmy Dale Bristow, Minnie Estes and Bessie Sue Booth.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Goodman (Donna) of Cave City, Terry Goodman (Agate) of Booneville and Brenda Duckett (Phil) of Melbourne; her siblings, Junior Bristow (Naomi) of Cave City, Derlene Rogers of Cave City and Donna Ables (John) of Cave City; and her granddaughters, Sabrina Stone (Adam), Natasha King (Tony), Amber Hood, Miranda Cowgill (Casey) and Demetria "Mimi" Goodman. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cave City First Assembly (437 N Main St, Cave City, AR 72521). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Maxville Cemetery.
