He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Charlie and Mary Virginia Rierson of Farmington; and his sons, Rod Rierson and Todd Rierson. He is survived by: his uncle Spud; his pet Bella; his wife Charlotte Elaine Bailey Rierson of Fairfield Bay; his children-in-law, Gina René O'Brien Hughes (Kerry) of St. Augustine, Florida, Jim Bailey Peacock (Jennifer) of Jacksonville and Chris Mahoney Rierson of Edenberg, Texas; his grandchildren, Madelyn Rierson, Chris O'Brien (Yasaman), Kevin O'Brien (Erin), Rose Elaine Likollari (Dritan), Kerry Ann Partin (John), Patrick O'Brien, Brad Greenway Jr., Lydia Peacock, Eli Peacock, Oliver Peacock and Catherine Elaine Peacock; his great grandchildren, Kian O'Brien, Adalynn, John Partin III and Arian Likollari; his sisters-in-law, Debra Simmons (Royce) and Lana Coffman; his sibling's children, Kristy Kinney, Robert Simmons, Dante Chaverez and Charlotte Elaine Uzzel; and his caregivers, Linda Sanders and Eddie Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Side First Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, Arkansas or to FFB Animal Shelter.
