He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Floyd Starr and Lucille Starr (Davis); his former wife Jean Starr; and his siblings, Leon Starr, Rev. Joseph Starr, Catherine Boatright and Wanda Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Jean Cline; his daughters, Teresa Blackston (Mitchell) of West Fork and Kathy Weston (Doug) of Farmington, Arkansas; his brother Clarence Starr of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Tyrel Weston (Rose), Kelsi Bartholomew (Brandon), Michael Blackston (Brooke), Kaci Cole (Archie) and Courtney Blackston; and his great grandchildren, Madi, Reagan, Cecilia, Hazel, Lyla and Cameron.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home (4520 N Crossover Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72764). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
