He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert George and Frieda Doretta Ahrens Hoins; and his wife Thelma Rita Barras Hoins. He is survived by : his children, Brian Hoins (Christy) of Virginia, Becky Wittman (Craig) of Virginia, Lorena Fuqua (Charlie) of Arkansas and Kay Giardino (Frank) of Arkansas; and his siblings, Wendell Hoins of Nebraska, Leola Westendorf of Iowa and Nancy Creekmore of Alabama. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
