It is with sadness that the passing of Helen Francis Cheatham of Farmington, Arkansas is shared. Helen, born on February 20, 1943, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel and John; her husband Sam; and her sister Linda King. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Herndon (Eddie) and Robert Cheatham (Vicky); her grandchildren, Jamie Gabbard (Chris), Kesha Emlet (Ryan), Collin Cheatham (Kaysha), Chelsea Folsom (Scott) and Laci Spears (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Sydney Sills (Weston), Teagan Gabbard, William Emlet, Payton Emlet, Harper Emlet, Presleigh Spears, Fen Cheatham and Piper Folsom; and her brother John Clayton (Vivian).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home (115 N Neal St, Prairie Grove, AR 72753).
The family will receive family and friends for a Celebration of Helen's Life at Luginbuel Funeral Home Thursday, September 24, 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Since Helen loved dogs so much, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in the Helen's memory to the Friends of the Prairie Grove Pound.
