He is survived by : his wife Patricia "Pat" Shumate; his daughter Jenny Reed of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Ryan Thomas of Eureka Springs and Katelynn Thomas of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his sister Alice Price of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Judy Reed of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Beverly Burney, Brenda Pogue, Danny, Mark, Mike Reed and Joe Young.
