With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Wright George of Fayetteville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph James Wright, Jr. and Janet Blakely Wright (Watkins); her son Robert Samuel George; and the father of her children Patrick Drake George. She is survived by: her son Patrick Wright George (Lauren); and her sisters, Nancy Wright Clark (Alice Sence), Janet Elizabeth Blackburn and Catherine Wright Vantine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Et First United Presbyterian Church (695 E Calvin St, Fayetteville, AR 72703).
