With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara T. (Schwartz) McCord of Fayetteville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wells Thrailkill and Odell Mead Thrailkill; her former husband Harry Stephen Schwartz Sr.; and her husband Arthur Stevenson McCord. She is survived by: her children, Harry Stephen Schwartz Jr. (Gina) of Watkinsville, Georgia and Alison Schwartz Kimbrough (William) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and her grandson Harry Stephen Schwartz III of Athens, Georgia..
