We announce the death of Betty Jean Freeman of Fayetteville, Arkansas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 95. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Dickens and Ola Kirkland Dickens; her siblings, William E Dickens, Juanita Dickens Lamb Adams and Eddie V Dickens Gambell; and her husband John Clement Freeman.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Freeman of Galveston and Michael Freeman (Kathy) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Reece Freeman, Laura, Taylor Quint (Freeman), Nick, Cameron Freeman, Emma, Jordyn Freeman, Luke Freeman, Natalie, Joel Freeman, Madeleine, Madelyn Arnold (Freeman), Jack and Claire Freeman; and her great grandchildren, Lily Podowski, Anderson Quint, Miles Quint, Leon Quint, Finley Freeman, Satchel Freeman, Bennett Freeman, Banks Freeman, Shepard Freeman and Opal Arnold. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
