He is survived by: his sister-in-law Juanita Cooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his niece Whitney Leigh Cooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Dixon Cooper Memorial Fund at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
