She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Melton (Misty) of McAlester, Summer Melton of Poteau, Patricia Palmer (Kalen) of Yanish and Allen Tom of Talihina; and her siblings, Samantha Olivares of Howe, John Melton of Poteau, Emerson Melton (Debbie) of Oklahoma City and Rodney Melton of Stigler. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, her 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the The Cedars (520 Dewey Ave, Poteau, OK 74953).
