He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Mac Nixon and Carles Kathryn Patrick Nixon; and his brother Charles "Buzz" Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Crissa Wright Nixon; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Mike Valdez; his grandsons, Trevor, Jake, Josh Thurman and Bailey Williams; his stepson Britt Barnes; his son-in-law Yalonda; and his stepgranddaughters, Zaylie, Zariah Pinnell, Lauren and Renee Powell (Devin). He is also survived by extended family and many lifelong friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
