He was predeceased by : his parents, Laurence Douglas and Molly Hill Sr. (Birdsong); his wife Sallie Hill; and his sister Betty Lou Hill. He is survived by : his sons, Stephen Andrew Hill (Denise) and David Hill (Quida); his grandchildren, Ashley Robbins, William Hill, Joshua Hill, Creed Hill, Alicia Hill-Wheeler (William), Joshua Meltzer, Amanda Rhodes and Jeremiah Meltzer; and his sisters, Joanne F Winsett (Hill) and Edwynne Elizabeth Kalb (Hill). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
