She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Quincy Carson Jr. and Mildred Louise Carson (Satterfield); her spouse Pat H. Burnett II; her children, Patty (James Sanders) of Berryville, AR, Mike Burnett of Springdale, AR and Debbie (Steve Scoggin) of Fayetteville, AR.; her grandchildren, Ty (Lexi Sanders) and Jenna (Carl Little); her great grandchildren, Isabella "Izzie" Hogue of Fayetteville, AR and Jackson "The Jazz" Sanders of Elkins, AR.; her sister Cheryl Ford-Bone (Rocky Bone) of Bentonville, AR; her nephew Terry Carson; and her niece Pam Smith (Carson). She was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Gideons, International, and/or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her name.
