With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynda Zelen Dockery of Fayetteville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lynda Zelen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lynda Zelen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lynda Zelen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dockery and Zelen Dockery; her brother Thomas W. Dockery; and her brother-in-law J. C. Hughes. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Hughes of Winslow and George L. Dockery, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Patricia Cochran of Fayetteville. She is also survived by 7 nephews, 8 nieces, 17 great-nephews and 18 great nieces.
