She was predeceased by: her father Frankie Louis Newby; her grandparents, Henry Newby, Maxine Newby and Mildred Betzner; and her uncle Buddy Newby.

She is survived by: her husband Ethan James Hardwick (Noah); her son Noah Louis Hardwick; her mother Sheryl Harris (Daniel); her siblings, Rusty Wilson (Nan) and Amanda Grabert (Brian); her nieces and nephews, Alyssa Files (Chris), Sydney Grabert, Jack Grabert, Roman Files and Walker Files; and her uncle Henry Louis Newby.
