He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lynn Wharry and Florence Alberta Skelton Wharry; his former wife Carolyn Meredith Wharry; and his son Stephen Wharry. He is survived by: his wife Ardith Symond Winters; his son Donald Wharry (Jan) of Mansfield, Texas; and his grandchildren, Brian Wharry (Katie) of Fort Worth and Kristin Harman (Jeremy) of Fort Worth. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
