He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Harrell and Sarah Irene Harrell (Stout); his wife Dana Harrell; and his sister Addie Harrell. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Vanzetta "Van" Tennant; his nephews, Mike Tennant, Steve Tennant (Sandy), Jeff Tennant (Brooke), David Tennant (Chris), Fred Tennant (Pam), Jason Tennant (Allison) and Justin Tennant (Katie); and his niece Johna Howell.
