He is survived by: his wife Laura Ellen K Carver; his daughter Lindsay Avery; his son-in-law Christopher Stanley Grodzki; his grandchildren, Eddy Reed and Rhodes Henry Grodzki; his son David Edward; his brother David Mark (Julia Colella Carver); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Clarice Carver; his niece Mary Frances Scott Wardlaw (David Wardlaw); his nephews, Michael Penn Scott (Zada) and Stephen Allen Scott (Mary Jo); his cousin Dr. Joel Carver (Lynn Donald Carver); Hilary Anne Carver, Tom James and Ben Reed.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 7th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the non-profit school Laura Carver co-founded in 2020, the Santa Fe Girls School, 310 West Zia Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87505.
