She was predeceased by: her parents, Thayer Ewing Shelton and Alice Kinney Shelton; her great-great-grandparents, Peter and Tempie VanWinkle; and her husband Edward Walton McRae.

She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Walton Lewis (Robert Lewis) of Greenbelt, Maryland, Susan Lynnette Kanary (Robert Kanary) of Oklahoma City and Alice Anne Perry (Steve Perry) of Grand Prarie, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Kanary (Hannah), Sara Elizabeth Kanary, Gregory Harrison Collier (Maddie) and Robin Miles Walton Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sons Chapel.
